A 4-Piece Polka Band That Doesn't Exist

Hendomusic.net provides free websites for local musicians.
Social media is all well and good, but almost nobody under 30 uses facebook and hardly anybody over 50 uses instagram. The best universal method to make your presence known is still a bespoke web page. This example page demonstrates the basic template and default color theme I offer. I have a few additional color schemes to choose from, and you can see screenshots of those in the photo section.
You provide the pics, logo, social links, and contact info (or not, everything is optional) and I’ll get the framework up and running. The news and bio sections are simply google docs which you will have the ability to edit as you see fit. The photos are stored in a google drive folder which you can modify. You will need to make a public google calendar and public youtube playlist for those sections. But the important part is you will have total control over the content and can easily edit it at will, without having to fiddle with the nuts and bolts of the website itself.
This isn’t a sales pitch. I’m not a real web dev and I’m not selling anything. I’m just trying to help out the local music scene in the way that I am able. If you’d like a site of your own, email me at hendolivemusic@gmail.com and I will get you set up.

The Examples
Because Someone Had to Be the Polka Band You Didn’t Know You Needed
The Examples are a four-piece polka ensemble dedicated to uplifting spirits, fueling dance floors, and confusing Spotify’s recommendation algorithms. Formed accidentally when four strangers showed up to the same “Learn to Yodel” workshop, the band quickly realized they shared two passions: high-energy polka and snacks.
Since then, they’ve brought their unique blend of charm, chaos, and questionable costume choices to weddings, festivals, breweries, and at least one backyard barbecue where no one admitted to hiring them.
Members
Adam Fischer – Accordion & Vocals
Adam learned accordion after his parents mistakenly bought him one, thinking it was a small keyboard. Thirty years later, he’s still playing it and still insisting he knows where all the buttons go. His vocals are described by fans as “surprisingly good” and by his bandmates as “loud enough.”
Mara Klein – Trumpet & Clarinet
Mara was classically trained until one fateful day when a polka beat dropped and she discovered her true calling. She now plays trumpet, clarinet, and occasionally spoons if the mood strikes. Legend has it she can hit a note so high it summons nearby geese.
Lukas Werner – Upright Bass
Lukas didn’t choose the upright bass. The upright bass chose him by falling off a truck in front of his house. He took it as a sign and never looked back. He provides the warm, thumping heartbeat of the band, as well as 90% of the group’s snacks.
Ben Duarte – Drums & Percussion
Ben brings rhythm, energy, and a collection of polka-themed socks no one asked for. He once tried to play an entire gig using only a triangle “for the artistic challenge.” He was promptly banned from doing that again. His drumming is the reason people dance, cheer, and occasionally spill their beer.
